Worship With Us

Cohutta is a traditional place to worship.
“Our Cohutta Church is well known for the serenity that you feel from its setting on a hill, surrounded by tall trees and secluded off the beaten path. The church building itself gives you a warm, inviting feeling. Before you enter the church, we are there with the doors open, waiting to greet you with a genuine warm and loving spirit. Cohutta is a caring church that reaches out in every way we can to touch lives with the love of Christ. You are welcomed as you are.”
Jose Pastor Pastor Seventh Day Adentist Cohutta
“Acknowledging that Jesus is Lord, The Cohutta Presbyterian Church seeks to live joyously in the grace of God through the nurture and spiritual love for Christ by loving each other, being faithful stewards, and sharing in worship and service in a way which draws and invites others into the family of faith.”
Susan Reggin Pastor Cohutta Presbyterian Church
“Cohutta First Baptist Church has been on a long, strong and colorful journey. The church was organized the first Sunday in April 1906. Being serious about its ties to the community and other churches, Cohutta First Baptist united with the North Georgia Baptist Association in September 1906. ”
Brian Jarrett Pastor Cohutta First Baptist Church

Meet Our Elected Officials

The offices of Mayor and vice mayor and councilman are elected officials.
Sandy Clayborne Council Woman I grew up here and went to Cohutta schools.  I love the small town feel where everyone knows each other.  It's like family.
Ron Shinnick Mayor Cohutta Our family moved to the "center of the universe" over 33 years ago and this is where we raised our 3 children.  The Town is our family and we couldn't imagine living anywhere else.
